“ Our family has eaten at some of the nicest restaurants in the world. We have tried every highest-end spot in Vail and Slope Room left us absolutely blown away. It was the highlight of our trip. The food was spectacular to say the least. We started with the duck appetizer and all agreed it was the greatest duck dish we've tried in 30 years of traveling the world. We then had the 20oz Bison Ribeye, the chicken dish and the pasta dish and we couldn't stop raving about how perfect they were. The chicken dish was easily the best I've ever had. I usually find chicken dishes horribly boring. This was ridiculously flavorful and so delicious. And we crushed the ribeye as a family. The Baked Alaskan we had for dessert too was perfectly built. The ambiance was lovely, sitting by a window and enjoying a gorgeous night. We are dreaming of coming back again as soon as possible! ”

“ This place had a certain vibe that I could tell it was trying to persuade. The decoration and the way workers were dressed all matched. Although I wish the music was a little different. I just feel like it was out of place compared to the rest of the restaurant. Service and the food was great. I got a pork chop that had a very interesting field of flavor and it was very good. The only thing about the pork shop is that it was pretty chewy. Other than that, great place and would love to come again. ”

“ The service is impeccable. The entire room was full and, even though there were only three (3) servers, every table was attended to. I noticed the manager helping to serve and bus persons never let an empty plate sit at our table too long. We had the cornbread, hamachi crudo, smoked duck, squash soup, and beet and burrata salad to start. For an entree, we had the NY rib eye and the mac n' cheese. For dessert, we had coffee and despite the coffee being lukewarm, the orange olive oil cake (which seemed to have been assembled as it was ordered) made up for it. Everything tasted like perfection! The vibe is hip but the clientele ranged in age while the dance music set the lively tone. ”

“ Fine dining in the Vail village. First of all the interior is pretty nice but it depends if you get a booth or a table, some booths are located in front of the fire place and some are just facing windows with the view of the parking garage, so very different experience. We got the parking lot view lol The dinning experience itself was very nice, but I think their tartare could probably be less creative, like if it was just regular tartare on a plate with some bread that would be better. We decided to get a couple apps and split one entree, and they brought the ragu already split into two portions which was really nice. For desert they had a olive oil cake which I had to try, and I gotta say, it's an acquired taste but nothing like any desert I had before. ”

“ We were really excited to try this restaurant. The food was good, but not quite what we were expecting. However the service was incredible. From our amazing waitress that was very knowledgeable and informative to the manager who quickly handled a concern we had. I would definitely give this restaurant another chance. The menu has many great options. I love that they have a pasta dish (which looks incredible), meat and vegetable options. ”

“ Short: A beautiful, delicious, classic hallmark Vail spot. You'll definitely pay the price but won't be disappointed in the food quality. Love that they offer mock-tails! Long: 1) Service was great. Josh was very kind and explained menu items well. I think he got pulled in a few directions since they seemed to be short staffed for pre-season. There were no trash cans at the entrance, so my partner was stuck bringing in a red bull can he hadn't yet finished. Not something that was preferred in a nice(r) restaurant but we were hoping the server would have been able to take it at some point. Instead we were awkwardly approached with a glass of ice and a short "we don't allow outside drinks, here's a glass and I'll take your can" which was fine but incredibly awkward. 2) Ambiance was nice, the tables are a bit long to allow for the plate space but puts you a little far from someone across from you. It was pretty chilly, so bring a light sweater if you don't want to wear your coat. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of a coat check. If there is one, we were not offered it. Bathrooms are beautiful and offer soft towels for hand drying. 3) Food was very good. Surprisingly the $18 cornbread was in-fact worth $18. The butter is to die for and was an amazing breakfast in the morning. They pretty much served us a loaf of cornbread. Way more than we needed. We also had the steak tartare and that was very visually pleasing to accompany the great texture and taste. One of the better steak tartare's I've had. My partner had the pork chop which was ok, not mind blowing. The Brussel sprouts were cooked very well. The Mac and cheese is a MUST HAVE. I had the Lamb Ragu which was good but nothing to write home about. 4) Mock-tails - I was pleased to see these offered with some new types of alcohol-free alternatives. The "No-groni" is not worth it but the Raspberry Club is a MUST. So great. ”
